Yes the TMB is a great intro to the Alps. Some very-hard-to-beat views! Just looking through your write up it seems you have a very similiar set of photos to us in fact. No surprise there really and it doesn’t detract from the route.

Not sure about the HR - I'm thinking of getting a high route together of my own walking between high level huts rather than following the HR - particularly as some of the early stages follow the TMB (admittedly some of the best parts of the TMB).
