Rach - Yes it certainly seems to have missed people. We wondered who might pick up on it.

And yes - sometime next summer LB will become mrs Yeti.

But never mind the wedding think of the honeymoon!!

Russ - sorry your comment was caught in the Spam filter. First one it's ever got wrong!

The earthquake isn't causing any issues to our itinerary and luckily it seems no one was killed. But they're fairly used to them out there. And it wouldn't be the first time we experienced one during a Big Walk!

We have never thought about Iceland (or Island in Danish) but we have loved Norway and have now added Iceland to our list. Thanks

We leave in mid August. I'd like to have gone a little later but the buses seem to run a reduced timetable after the end of August. Also LB has a Masters Graduation around then (third year running that UCL have managed to affect our timings!)

In the mean time we plan to keep up our record of being in the hills every other weekend of the year.

And of course a holiday in Sweden seeing the Outlaws (won't be able to call them that next year) where we'll attempt to store some body fat...

That always finishes off our training nicely! ;)

This looks beautiful. I'm very jealous. Not only of the walk, but also the 3:2 split in kit - I'm lucky if I can get 9:1...

How long till you hit the trail?
