Some useful information for folks who plan to go hiking for a long time. The leaving home checklist I even use when we leave for the weekend somewhere, but it is in my head (we have a small two room flat, so everything is easy to oversee). It gives a good feeling of safety knowing that no plugs are connected and by some freak accident can set themselves on fire ^_^
